Elf or Fairy?

I watched the extended DVD of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers earlier in the week, courtesy of Kriston and the mountain of movies he loaned/buried me in. The DVD version is like 16 hours, complete with the revelation that Aragorn is 87 years old(!) and there's all these completely meaningless scenes about horses -- and I am a horse fan. The kicker, tho, was the re-appearance of Haldir, whom my friend in the U.K. and I dubbed the Gayest Elf in All of Middle Earth. Well, of course, the Gayest Elf in Middle Earth has his own website. I loved the way he just swished up to the orcs in Helms Deep ...

I guess I should defend Craig Parker as he has a really strong Kiwi/Aussie accent in real life and, like a lot of the Down Underers (Hugo Weaving, Geoffrey Rush, etc.), sounds really gay when he's trying to cop a Pommie (British) accent. That and he is a dead ringer for this waiter I used to have a crush on. *sigh*
